Managing Director

Richard’s practical background coupled with his experience as a Chartered Accountant positions him well to provide practical solutions in complex scenarios.

Richard enjoys building relationships and working closely with businesses of all sizes, at all stages of the business lifecycle, and helping them overcome various challenges. These relationships allow Richard to understand what success means to his clients and how to achieve it.

Richards work encompasses compliance, advisory, strategy, financing, software implementation and support, succession planning and execution. He also works closely with financiers, stakeholders, and advising Boards.

Craig McCoy C.A, B.Com, (P.P)

Director

Craig leads our business advisory team and has a wide variety of skills and experiences to call upon when working with his clients. With an extensive background in commercial banking and finance and also several successful businesses of his own, he is well placed to understand and overcome the challenges of business in today's demanding market place.

Craig employs a practical and solutions based approach to business advisory and with his proven record in developing and growing profitable businesses makes for a great ally with McCoy & Co Limited clients.

Garth Snell C.A., B.Com, FCG, FGNZ, (P.P.)

Director

Garth has accumulated a wealth of Chartered Accounting experience in both New Zealand and Australia since the early 1980's. Garth works with Craig and Richard leading the accounting services and business advisory teams. Working alongside small to medium-sized enterprises, covering a diverse range of industries, Garth takes pride in clients succeeding. He has Governance experience and was Chair of the Board of a National Sporting Organisation.

Garth enjoys guiding young accountants to fulfill their career aspirations and has been involved in the Chartered Accountant Australia New Zealand mentoring program.

His astute, practical, and personable approach is much appreciated by clients.

Trudie has been with McCoy & Co since 2017. In her 20+ years working in the business advisory field, she's worked with small to medium sized business across a range of industries. Trudie enjoys working closely with clients to build strong relationships and takes pride in providing a professional service with solution-based outcomes.
